Have you ever dreamed of ripping up a huge mass of paper and creating a fabulous frock?! Well that’s what we did during this fine art photo shoot and it was so much FUN!
We affectionately named this photoshoot “The Cosy Lettuce Shoot,” proving that it is indeed possible to make friends with salad! It was truly amazing to explore the variety of shapes, curves, and structures we could create using this super-thick photo backdrop paper. The texture and weight of the paper allowed for so much creativity, though yes – it can rip if pushed too far! Even so, we still managed to capture some wonderful forms, and in many cases, the accidental rips added unexpected, beautiful detail that enhanced the composition.
Hair and makeup was created by the talented Gaetana Marjas. We love crafting creative hair and makeup to perfectly complement your fine art shoots. The eye makeup was initially planned to be more geometric and just green tones, but with our client’s stunning hair colour, it made sense to incorporate warmer autumn tones that beautifully complemented the green and harmonised with her hair.
I loved working with paper, the sculptural line create amazing contrast with the soft curves of the body. If you are reading this then you might be interested in some of the other creative shoots we have collaborated on.
